CHANGE

In order, to fullfil the requirements of a more intuitive user experience, the lunchbox gets a new stunning design. A highly experienced product designer is being consulted. Thus, the brilliant re-design leads to the believe that the product can stand for itself and a clear vision is being created.

FOCUS GROUP

Feedback is gold. In a next step, samples are given to the most honest people they know. They are asked for their opinion. At this point, brutal and frank feedback is exactly what is needed. They figured out that the design isn't as intuitive as wished and that this has to change in a next development iteration.

TESTING

In order to ensure consistency, they spend weeks for testing and sampling Pebble. They try hard to improve and solve future issues.

NI HAO

Looking for suitable suppliers and business partners, they go to visit China for 3 weeks. This is where they find their current partner. Fair working conditions are a must and they’re pleased that the discovered suppliers and partners meet their expectations.

LET’S GET SERIOUS

Bye-bye prototyping - Hello finalizing. Finding a tooling partner in Vienna they are able to get samples of the assembled lunchbox. They can finish the development and new design of Pebble.

FOXXIL LTD - DO WE REALLY HAVE A COMPANY NOW?

Over a year passed, as the three of them officially found the company. Foxxil was born.

ACTION

Pebble gets better and better with every prototype. It gets presented at Innovation Basel and wins 2nd place out of 50 startups. A buzz is beginning…

THE PLAN

An idea is one thing, a prototype another. In the end, nothing gets off the ground without a proper business plan. With a market analysis involving more than 1000 people, they build the foundation to present the business model at the Swiss Startup Challenge. In the end, they ranked 4 out of 100. This was motivation enought to file for IP protection.

SPARRING-PARTNER NEEDED

Mathias a challenging guy in general, would make the team complete. He is the one who tries to bring out the best in each other. Questioning the way and always looking for the most effective solution he is a total entrepreneur. Sharing this mindset, Hicham introduces him to Pebble and persuads him to join the the adventure as well.

BRAIN NEEDED

Hicham reaches out to Claudio, a friend from university, to join the adventure. He needs someone who can do the technical part. They begin to research and come up with the first prototype. They call it Pebble.

THE SPARKS FLY

It all begins with the little spark. Hicham pitches an idea for one of his university courses. The course is basically about coaching and supporting students to bring them from an idea to a business plan. This is where it all starts. This is where the lunchbox got invented.
